Amanda Twombly has been teaching art in public schools for over 10 years. She began teaching in Pennsylvania after graduating from Moravian College in 2007. She then moved to Washington D.C. in 2011 to teach at inner city public schools. While in D.C. Amanda was able to attend professional development courses at the National Gallery of Art and the Corcoran. She is currently working on her Masters in Art Education at Kutztown University.

Amanda started Crinkle, as a pop up studio art experience for kids and adults, in a small clothing boutique in her D.C. neighborhood in 2013. The first event was six women gathered around a table making art and feeling good! Since then Crinkle has had numerous pop ups across the city and is now hosting events in Pennsylvania. In 2015 Amanda launched the in home art lessons and is excited to see where the next Crinkle pop up will be in the Lehigh Valley.
