Well it has already come and gone, but I can say the YA Fest Junior was a lot of fun. The Bethlehem Public library is such an amazing building. There are vintage wire mid-century modern sculptures on the walls and two story tall clear glass windows. The architectural elements were not the only inspiring things about the day, but also the beautiful magnolia and cherry blossom trees blooming outside were an amazing backdrop for the day!
Kiddos came from all over the Lehigh Valley on Saturday to meet and greet their favorite authors. I was there teaching students to cartoon. Kids were able to sketch and cartoon in a small sketchbooks and earn stickers and candy as prizes for creating art. It was a lot of fun to interact with kids who not only like to make art but also love reading!
